Research Topic:

Hydrogeochemical Modelling

She received her B.Sc. degree in Geology from Calcutta University, where she secured a First Class, First position in 2015. She completed her masters in Geology from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2017, where she was awarded the Institute Silver Medal, for securing a first position in her batch. She has now joined as a research scholar in the hydrogeology group at IIT Kharagpur, where she is trying to identify the factors controlling contaminant distribution  in both space and time and numerically quantify the biogeochemical reactions involved in contaminant mobilization and transport on various scales. Along with hydrogeology she also has experience in working in the fields of metamorphic petrology and paleontology.
