Research Area/Interest - Application of Artificial intelligence in the field of Hydrogeology
I am a Research Scholar at the Department of Geology and Geophysics, IIT Kharagpur. I graduated from IIT Kharagpur in Applied Geology under Integrated M.Sc (5Yr) Programme in 2016. Since then I have worked at Coal India Limited for 4 years before joining the Hydrogeology Group at IIT Kharagpur as a Research Scholar in Autumn, 2020. I had worked with the geology team as well as with the hydrogeology team at the Exploration Division of Central Mine Planning and Design Institute (a subsidiary of Coal India) at Nagpur in the capacity of Assistant Manager (Geology) during my stint at Coal India. After working in the mining sector as a hydrogeologist, I understood the impact of groundwater on life and decided to pursue research in the field of Hydrogeology. "
