“Synthesis of graphene oxide-based nanocomposites for adsorptive removal of potentially toxic water pollutants”
Rishi completed his Ph.D from School of Environmental Science and Engineering, IIT Kgp in December 2019. His research focuses on the synthesis and functionalization of 2D materials with an emphasis on graphene oxide-based nanocomposites, adsorption-based wastewater treatment, and modelling of batch and fixed-bed adsorption column system. Rishi is a well-trained researcher with hands-on experience on the water analysis instruments like ICP-MS, AAS, GC-MS, HPLC, GC, etc. as well as holds excellent skill on cutting edge material characterization tools such as XPS, XRD, SEM, TEM, AFM, and FTIR. Rishi is an active science communicator and dedicated team player. He received his M.Tech in Environmental Science and Technology from National Institute of Technology Durgapur and B.Tech in Biotechnology from Saroj Institute of Technology and Management Lucknow.
